Train with Myko is the trading name of Burt Myko Baluyot, sole trader, ABN 44 839 223 856. We operate from New South Wales, Australia and provide personal training and coaching services delivered through this website and app at trainwithmyko.com.

What We Collect
When you create an account and use our service, we collect the following categories of personal information.
Account Information
Your email address and name, collected via Clerk (our authentication provider) when you create an account. We may also hold a mobile phone number — provided by you or recorded by your coach — used to send you account and payment messages by SMS.
Profile Information
Date of birth, sex, height, weight, training experience, fitness goals, equipment access, preferred session duration, body part priorities, injury history, medical conditions you choose to disclose, and lifestyle information such as sleep and stress level. This information is provided by you during onboarding so that we can design an appropriate training program.
Training Data
Records of every workout you log within the app, including sets, repetitions, loads, perceived effort, rest intervals, exercise selections, substitutions, and notes. Session check-ins covering sleep, soreness, energy, and mood are also recorded.
Communications
Messages exchanged with your coach inside the app, including any attachments you choose to share.
Technical Data
IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP address. These are standard server logs collected by any modern web application.
Why We Collect It
We collect and use your personal information in order to:
- ·Deliver coaching services and design personalised training programs;
- ·Track your progress and adjust your program over time;
- ·Communicate with you about your training;
- ·Provide customer support;
- ·Comply with our legal obligations under Australian law; and
- ·Protect the security and integrity of our service.
Third Parties We Share Data With
We rely on a small number of third party service providers to operate our service. Each provider receives only the data necessary to perform their function.
- Clerk (clerk.com) provides user authentication and stores your email, name, and login credentials.
- Supabase (supabase.com) provides database hosting and stores your profile data, training logs, and communications.
- Vercel (vercel.com) provides web hosting and receives standard server logs including IP, browser, and device information.
- Anthropic (anthropic.com) provides AI processing that helps generate portions of your coaching analysis. Inputs are processed for this purpose only and are not retained for model training.
- Stripe (stripe.com) processes subscription billing. Stripe receives your payment information; we do not store credit card details.
- Resend (resend.com) delivers transactional emails such as your payment link. Resend receives your email address and the message content.
- ClickSend (clicksend.com) delivers SMS messages such as your payment link. ClickSend receives your mobile number and the message content.
- Jotform (jotform.com), when used for application forms, receives only the data you enter into those forms.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Where Data Is Stored
Our service providers may store data outside Australia. Clerk and Supabase primarily host in the United States. Vercel uses a global edge network. By using our service you consent to your data being processed in these jurisdictions, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in Australia.
How Long We Keep It
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active. We may continue to hold data after you cease using the service in order to support your return, maintain our business records, or comply with legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing baluyotmyko@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving a verified request, except where law requires us to retain certain records.
Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

Children
Our service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication provided by Clerk, and database access controls provided by Supabase. No system is perfectly secure; however, we take active and reasonable steps to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email or in-app notice. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
